Acura MDX
The 2020 Acura MDX is a three-row luxury SUV that sits either six or seven people, depending on your configuration. Its strengths lie in its capable engine options, driver-friendly fuel economy, smooth handling, and wealth of standard features.
Performance
When it comes to engine options, Plymouth MI drivers have two choices. The standard option is a super capable 3.5-liter V6 engine that is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drivetrain. This powertrain gets the 2020 Acura MDX a performance output of 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque alongside a fuel economy of 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
All-wheel drive is available, but so is the revolutionary three-motor Sport Hybrid powertrain, which draws its inspiration from the Acura NSX high-performance supercar. This powertrain produces a much improved performance output of 321 horsepower and unlocks an elite level of handling for the most serious of luxury car drivers.
Technology
The 2020 Acura MDX features a dual touchscreen configuration that controls its advanced infotainment system. The top screen is eight inches, while the bottom screen is seven inches. Standard features include smartphone compatibility via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Siri Eyes Free, Bluetooth, and an eight-speaker sound system.
Cargo Space and Interior
The Acura MDX comes with a generous helping of cargo space, and it can be accessed in one of three ways. Behind the third row sits 15 cubic feet of space, which becomes 38.4 cubic feet when you fold it down. Folding down the second row maximizes your total cargo capacity at 68.4 cubic feet.
The Acura MDX consists of a cabin lined in premium materials while leather seats are standard right from the base trim level. The front seats are heated and feature 12-way power-adjustable technology. One-Touch Smart Slide is also a standard feature, which easily folds and slides the second row with a single button push.
